Work in Progress: Fused Glass Bowls

The first step is to bake them in the kiln so they are flat.

Today I spent some time trimming the edges with a tile saw and grinding down the edges so they are smooth. I have a little more work to do on the first bowl, but the mountains is waiting to be slumped in a cone bowl mold.

Below are images of the bowls before I cleaned up the edges and before they are slumped.

Unique features include on purpose bubble creation, color bar (down the center) and foliage imprints (with powered glass and leaves/petals).

Your typical strip bowl.
