Painting Inspired Words

I painted these for a juried show. The entry fee got you a book of poetry
by Vermont poet, Daniel Lusk. The poems of his newest published
collection, Kin, were to serve as inspiration for an artistic creation of
your choosing.  His poems speak a lot on nature but have fantastical
elements sprinkled throughout.

Inspired by the beginning of April, which reads:
"Snow shower this morning.
We live at the border
between rain and snow,
winter and spring
where dogs become coyotes
and cats become wild"
